What is Zero Footmarks?
Zero Footmarks is a sustainability initiative by India's VKC, one of India’s most trusted footwear brands.
It allows you to return your old footwear responsibly, any brand, any condition and helps reduce footwear waste and supports a circular economy in footwear. Every returned pair is recycled where feasible or disposed of responsibly through verified sustainability partners, ensuring nothing ends up in landfills. The program is available online across India and offline at selected India's VKC stores.
How does the Zero Footmarks online shoe recycling program work?
- Order your new VKC footwear from the official Zero Footmarks online store.
- At delivery, hand over your old pair (any brand, any condition) to the delivery partner. It is a true doorstep footwear recycling pickup in India
- Your old pair is collected, sorted, and routed to our recycling unit through authorized logistics partners.
Reusable materials are recycled, while non-recyclables are disposed of responsibly.
How does the in-store program work?
- Visit a participating India's VKC collection store (see Store Locator).
- Buy your new India's VKC pair and return your old footwear at the counter.
- Your pair enters our used footwear collection stream for recycling or ethical disposal.
Which footwear can I return?
You can return any brand and most types of footwear - shoes, sandals, slippers, even mismatched pairs.
If some parts can’t be recycled, they’re safely disposed of through our eco-certified partners.
Do I receive any additional discounts or rewards for being part of Zerofootmarks?
Yes. Eligibility depends on the product and current policies. Any applicable rewards or discounts are automatically applied when you add the product to your cart.
